Marriage and divorce contracts of Baygum Khanum, daughter of the late Aqa Taqi, and Murad ‘Ali, son of the late Kazim. The mahr includes one tuman and five thousand dinars, one-and-a-half misqals of golden jewelery, copperware, European chintz clothes, a set of bedding made in Qumshah, kilim and a felt rug, and one-sixth of the groom's residential building located in the Ustad Qasim the Carpenter neighborhood of Asfarjan village. Settlement between Baygum Jan, wife of Sayyid Javad, and Baygum, wife of Sayyid ‘Ali and daughter of Haj ‘Abd al-Vahhab, and Sayyid Abu al-Qasim, son of Mir Zayn al-‘Abidin Fazuh-ji of Isfahan, exchanging a garden known as Rasti Garden located in the Jurtan Marbin village of Isfahan, twenty-five tumans for the price of the house of Sayyid ‘Ali's wife, and forty-five tumans from another settlement between Sayyid Javad and his wife for two thousand rupees and one hundred units of wheat. The garden was Haj ‘Abd al-Vahhab's and had been transferred to his son and his daughter after his death....

Settlement between Zaynab and Zayn al-‘Abidin, 1811
Settlement between Zaynab, daughter of Isma‘il from Khvurasgan Jay, and Zayn al-‘Abidin, son of Muhammad Baqir from the same village, exchanging her inherited properties, including a residential building in the same village, located in the Yar ‘Ali neighborhood, known as Aqa Isma‘il's House, and a stable and all its belongings for one hundred dinars and fifty units of wheat in shahi weight. On the margin: "Zaynab agreed to buy the stable, some springs, and the shares of other co-owners and give them to Zayn al-‘Abidin without asking for anything in return."

Marriage agreement of Nawbar Agha, daughter of Muhammad Husayn from Furushan, and Sayyid Fath Allah, son of Mirza ʻAbd Allah from Khuzan. The mahr is one hundred and twenty-five tumans, twenty-five tumans of which is cash, fifty tumans is to buy a house for the bride, and fifty tumans is to buy clothes, rugs, and other necessities.

Marriage agreement of Baygum Agha and Sayyid Muhammad Taqi, 1939
Marriage agreement of Baygum Agha, daughter of Sayyid Karim son of Sayyid Habib Allah from Khuzan, and Sayyid Muhammad Taqi, son of Sayyid Hashim Furushani. The mahr includes one-twelfth of a house in Furushan village, and ninety tumans, of which twenty-six tumans and two-and-one-half riyals remain the groom's debt. The rest should be spent on gold, cotton wool, chintz, trays, and rugs. The groom's father transferred ownership of one-twelfth of the house to his son.

Marriage agreement of Rubabah Aqayi, daughter of Haydar ʻAli from Khuzan, and Fath Allah Jamshidi, son of Ramazan ʻAli from Khuzan. The mahr includes twenty-six tumans and two thousand five hundred dinars, one-twelfth of a residential building located in the Shamsabad neighborhood of Khuzan, some properties in the Andan village known as Jaʻfarabad, and one pair of gold earrings worth ten tumans. Additionally, ten tumans will be paid as the bridal gift to buy women's clothes.

He shares his memories of family members, acquaintances, and the daily life and rituals of people in the Qajar era. Hafez Farmayan describes the life of his Father (ʻAbd al-Husayn Mirza Farmanfarma) in his estate in Tehran, his childhood memories of his mother and other co-wives, and his siblings and other people living on the estate. The plan of this estate is also drawn by Farmayan and it is included as an item in this collection.
